Our “Why”

"This foundation started a year ago when I took my daughters overseas, my oldest daughter observed kids her age going through major life struggles as if they were adults. They did not have much and they were deprived of basic rights and necessities. All of them were selling things on the street, working when they should have been in school getting an education. With a sad face, she asked me “What can we do for them, dad?"

It took me a year to answer her question, that's when I decided to make a foundation by the name of Zara & Zoya Foundation for the children.

Why we are here is very simple; it is because there are so many children around the world living in extreme poverty, and we want to do something about it.
